What we collect, and why.

ShuvoPro collects as little as possible: enough to take your payment, deliver access to learning resources, and send the emails you asked for. Nothing is sold to anyone.

01

Who is responsible for your data

ShuvoPro is an independent education brand; digital products are sold by Aurora E-Commerce Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14071140), and Aurora E-Commerce (Bangladesh), Trade License No. TRAD/CHTG/021444/2024, which act as data controllers for purchases made here as applicable. Reach us any time at [email protected].

02

What we collect

When you buy something: your name, email address, billing country and the details of your order or selected online learning resource.

When you request the free guide: your email address and which page you signed up from.

When you send a message: your name, email address and what you wrote.

Automatically: basic technical information such as approximate location, device and browser type, and which pages were visited, used only to keep the site working and understand what people read.

03

Payment Information and Payment Providers

When you make a payment through ShuvoPro, your transaction may be securely processed by an authorized third-party payment provider, including Stripe or SSLCOMMERZ, depending on your location and selected payment method.

The applicable payment provider may collect and process information necessary to complete your transaction, including your name, email address, billing information, transaction amount, payment method, and information required for payment authorization, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and transaction processing.

Sensitive payment credentials, such as full card details, are processed through the secure infrastructure of the applicable payment provider rather than being independently processed or stored by ShuvoPro for payment authorization.

ShuvoPro may receive limited transaction information from the applicable payment provider, including payment status, transaction reference, amount, currency, and payment method.

We use this information where necessary to confirm purchases, provide access to services, provide customer support, maintain financial records, investigate payment issues, and process eligible refunds.

Payment providers process information in accordance with their own privacy policies, security procedures, terms, and applicable regulatory requirements.

04

Why we use it

To take payment and deliver your files, to answer your questions, to send the free guide and follow-up emails you asked for, to keep records required for tax and accounting, and to prevent fraud and abuse. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

05

Legal bases

Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on: performance of a contract for purchases and delivery; consent for marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time; legitimate interests for site security, analytics and replying to enquiries; and legal obligation for financial records.

06

Who processes data for us

We use a small number of trusted providers, each bound to protect your information: authorized payment providers such as Stripe and SSLCOMMERZ (payments and fraud prevention), Klaviyo (email list and flows), our hosting and database provider (site, signup and message storage), and our email delivery provider (order and download emails).

Some of these providers are outside the UK and EU. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the safeguards their agreements provide, such as standard contractual clauses.

07

Marketing emails

If you request the free guide you are subscribed to the ShuvoPro email list and will receive practical freelance emails plus occasional product news. Every email has an unsubscribe link and one click is enough — we do not ask why. Buyers receive order and delivery emails regardless, because those are part of the purchase.

08

Cookies and analytics

The site uses only what it needs: essential cookies and local storage to make pages and forms work, and payment-provider cookies or similar technologies during checkout for fraud prevention and transaction processing. We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though checkout may then not work.

09

How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires (normally six years). Email list entries are kept until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed. Contact messages are kept while they are useful for support and then deleted.

10

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correction of anything wrong, deletion, restriction of use, or a portable export, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office; in the EU, to your local supervisory authority.

11

Security, children and changes

Data is stored on access-controlled services and transmitted over encrypted connections; no system is perfect, so we keep the data we hold to a minimum. The site is not intended for anyone under 16. If this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page.

To exercise any of your rights, or to ask a question about this policy, email [email protected].
